Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the Papo bot and its dashboard.

1. Scope & Parties

These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Papo Discord bot, the dashboard and connected services. By adding the bot to a server or signing in to the dashboard, you agree to these terms.

2. Requirements & Access

  • Discord accounts must comply with Discord's own Terms of Service.
  • Server administrators must ensure they are authorized to install the bot.
  • Dashboard access is provided via Discord OAuth2 with the necessary scopes (e.g. identify, guilds).

3. Papo's Services

Papo provides features such as automod, tickets, music, welcome, logging and leveling. The scope of features may be extended, adjusted or restricted without creating any entitlement to specific features.

4. User Obligations

  • No unlawful content or actions via the bot.
  • No circumventing rate limits, permission checks or security mechanisms.
  • Configurations such as automod filters, logs or tickets may only be used for lawful purposes.
  • Server owners must inform their community about the bot's use where required.

5. Availability & Changes

There is no entitlement to permanent availability. Maintenance, updates or outages may temporarily limit the service. Features or these terms may change at any time; material changes will be announced appropriately.

6. Liability

Papo is operated with care. To the extent permitted by law, no liability is assumed for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or downtime. Mandatory liability, e.g. for intent or gross negligence, remains unaffected.

7. Privacy

Information on how personal data is processed can be found in the Privacy Policy. By using the bot, you agree to the data processing described there.

8. Term & Termination

Use is open-ended and can be terminated at any time by removing the bot from the server or discontinuing dashboard access. Violations of these terms may result in a suspension.

9. Governing Law

German law applies, unless mandatory provisions state otherwise. Place of performance and jurisdiction follow the applicable statutory rules.
